About Me

When I moved to Tallahassee in 1997, it was to take over the main news anchor position at WCTV. I planned to stay only a year or two using this new position as a stepping stone to a bigger market. It soon became clear that leaving Tallahassee for the opportunity of a bigger market was no longer attractive. We had fallen in love with the area to the point where leaving was just out of the question. Additionally, with a growing family, the need for flexibility in my schedule became paramount. and I became a full time broker/associate.

Tallahassee is less than an hour from the beaches on the Gulf with a few listed every year in the 'Ten finest beaches in the world!' list. Our streets are tree lined with ancient oaks, merchants know you by name, and you can pretty much go anywhere in town within 15 to 20 minutes.

Tallahassee has many of the offerings of the larger cities, including most of your major retail, hotel, and restaurant chains, yet it all comes nicely packaged with a small town atmosphere. Families should know that many of our elementary, middle and high schools have earned the coveted blue ribbon award for outstanding academic leadership.

We are home to the Florida State Seminoles and FAMU Rattlers so, when football comes to town, Tallahassee responds with downtown festivals, and other special events. If you are moving from outside the area, let me show you around. You'll see for yourself why Tallahassee is a such great place, and a pleasure to call "my hometown"!
