I was born and raised in central Iowa and my family still travels back every year to visit with family and friends. After graduating from high school, I enlisted in the NAVY and served active duty with the Marines at Parris Island as a Corpsman. I also served on board the USS Voge FF.1047 and traveled throughout the Mediterranean and Central America.
After finishing my military service with honors, we moved to Tampa Florida where I completed my college education at the University of Tampa in 1991 with a degree in Mass Communications. My first broadcasting job in TV journalism was as the Consumer Investigative Reporter for WCBD-TV in Charleston, South Carolina. Then in 1997 I accepted the news anchor position for WCTV and Fox49 in Tallahassee
With a growing family and the need for some flexibility in my schedule, I made a career choice to leave the news desk in 2003 and have been helping families buy and sell real estate ever since.
Like most families, we stay busy. We are active in our community, involved in our church, school and sports for the boys. We enjoy the friendships made here over the last 18 years through our business and community activities.
I thoroughly love the work I do as a real estate broker and take great joy in helping other families in all areas with their real estate needs. I am passionate about providing excellent service to my customers. Working hard through the years, I’ve earned the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and the designation of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), which less than 4% of all realtors have accomplished. I have achieved the top 5% of producing agents in Tallahassee for the past 5 years. Through continuing educational courses, I have earned the accreditation of E-Pro. All of this shows my commitment to my profession and the commitment translates into satisfied clients for life!
I welcome the opportunity to help YOU find the RIGHT HOME in the RIGHT NEIGHORHOOD, let’s get started building a long-term relationship!
